Passion project

Today Shanarnia and Tonga, Sierra we have been doing some cooking for our passion project it is called discovery. We get to do our own thing it is so fun to make different thing.In my group we are making a Volcano Cake that erupt. in the cake it is going to have caramel that going to came out of the volcano cake. for our cake we had flour,cocoa, milk,eggs, baking powder,sugar. I would like to say thank you to miss taylor for helping us with the cooking. it was so fun doing cooking with miss taylor and my group. We are going to love the  cake when it ready to explode out the caramel.

The maths challenges

Hi guy Today Me and Tobey made a slide for our maths work we were working on our measuring.We want to share it with you guys.

Math DLO

Hi guys today I made a DLO for math About Division it means dividing by sharing. What I used for my DLO is a stop motion and i used a whiteboard table. Next I used counters to do my dividing. 

Fo Guang Shan

On Tuesday the 22nd of May all the years 7 and 8 were going to the Fo Guang shan temple. We've  learnt about 3G that means- Do good deeds, Say good words, Think good thoughts. 4Gs are Give confidence, Give joy, Give hope, Give convenience. We also made a flower out of paper that is called lotus flower. It is a flower that can float on water.

When we were going upstairs to see the pretty art it was so cool. I like how they gave us a tour around the Temple it was so so cool. When we were going downstairs together we all got water tattoos. When the police came we were doing school values. I also tried the police uniform on. Then after we took off the police uniform the tour guide showed us how to do meditation. I was relaxed when we were meditating.
                                 

Year 7 Sailing

On Friday all of  the year 7 and some of the year 8 .Went to Roto Kohatu lake for sailing. We were listening to the sailing instructors like how to put the boats to together and we put them in the water. All of the  people  that were in my group were having a try at sailing. Some of the kids were helping and bringing the boat on the shallow land. After morning tea we had a swim then we grab the other boats.
